Grover Cleveland High School participates in Ensemble ACJW, which is a partnership between Carnegie Hall, Julliard, and the Weill Music Institute. It is a two-year fellowship program for the finest young professional classical musicians in the United States that prepares them for careers combining musical excellence with teaching, community engagement, advocacy, music entrepreneurship, and leadership. It offers top-quality performance opportunities, intensive professional development, and the opportunity to partner throughout the fellowship with a New York City public school*.
Our students have performed at Julliard, and are oftentimes invited to see different performances free of charge at both Carnegie Hall and Julliard.
Having been provided such an excellent opportunity by these great organizations, our school pays it forward by sending our young, gifted musicians to the Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Center. Of course, our Grover Cleveland High School family also gets to enjoy their talent at our annual Fall and Spring Concerts.
