The mission for the STEM Academy at Grover Cleveland High School is to empower all students in the mastery of STEM skills leading to viable and attainable 21st century career options.
Here at Grover Cleveland High School, our STEM Academy has embraced the view that academic content should be taught through interdisciplinary studies.  Students will be immersed in rich, meaningful, STEM experiences through interdisciplinary coursework applied in the context of the real world through business and community partnerships.  Students will not only learn to apply knowledge, but they will also learn about a wide range of STEM careers, develop professional communication skills, and develop their ability to apply technology to real world situations.  The Grover Cleveland High School STEM Academy will lead students to develop the skills that they will need in order to succeed in the 21st century.
COLLEGE PARTNERSHIP
Students will have opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school through our dual credit courses through LaGuardia Community College.  Upon successful completion, students will receive both high school and college credit.  These credits are transferable to the City University of New York (CUNY) colleges and many colleges within the state.

Courses we offer:  College Algebra and Trigonometry; Elementary Statistics
